Preparing federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, estates, coordinating with clients to obtain needed tax preparation information and to ensure timely payment of client’s tax payments; maintaining knowledge of current tax laws and accounting standards; maintaining accurate billing time records for each client; monitoring cashiering needs in clients investment accounts; completing year-end tax loss harvesting review; providing liaison and oversight to the Investment Implementation process; researching mutual funds, exchange traded funds, fixed income strategies in coordination with Investment Committee; performing semi-annual rebalancing; and using the following programs: LaCerte Tax Software; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; investment management and financial planning software programs (such as EMoney, AdvisorPeak, Trade Warrior, Morningstar, Orion, Riskalyze and other investment software) and CRM systems.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, finance, economics, financial planning or a related field, or foreign academic equivalent; two months of experience or training in in the job offered or in providing financial services or tax preparation in the financial or tax preparation services industry, or related consulting services industry; and a Certified Public Accountant license or eligibility for such license.
Hours: 40/week, 9AM – 5PM
