Disappearing Windshield View

by | Oct 9, 2013 | Articles

There is a stealth change that is occurring and it will impact America greatly.  That change is the fact that Millennials are abandoning cars.  In 1980 almost half the people at the age of 16 had driver’s licenses.  In 2010 that number fell to just over 25%.  For the group up to 24 year old, the numbers dropped from almost 92% to about 75% during the same time period.  The freedom offered by a car that was relished by previous generations is not experienced by this younger generation who is the access to a world of information on their smartphones.
