Taking the Ball Away

by | Feb 28, 2013 | Articles

I remember as a child, that the person who owned the football basically controlled when a game could be played.  Sometimes when brothers played, there was a fight over who controlled the football and games could be called early or never started as the siblings argued.  In those events, everyone suffered and often the game either never started or was called early because of the delay.  In any event, the game was never as enjoyable.

We seem to be witnessing such an event with the Sequestration.  President Obama and Congress are fighting over who controls the football.  Of course, in this version, we the taxpayers are suffering.  The economy is slowing and the blame game has begun.  However, both sides created the situation so both sides are responsible for the harm created.
